Better Late Than Never...

This year we had a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We went to San Diego with Aaron's family for a few of days and we had so much fun!!! Of course while we were there we stopped by the beach. It was so pretty!!!

One of our main stops on this trip was Sea World. I didn't think Sea World was going to be as exciting as it was. We all had a really fun time!!

How scary is this? Look at all those teeth!!! This picture was taken in the shark tunnel. I almost freaked out in this thing!!!

The Shamu show was probably my favorite thing about Sea World. I can't believe this guy just jumps in the water with this huge killer whale and then goes flying in the air about 20 feet high. All the animals and shows were amazing and so fun!!!

This Thanksgiving will definitely be one that we remember!! We had so much fun. Thanks Mom and Dad Breckenridge for taking us!!!

Since I haven't had the time to put pictures up on our blog, I decided to do this cute christmas survey I got from a friends blog. I promise pictures are soon to come!!!!

1. Eggnog or Cocoa?
I have never been a fan of eggnog!!! I think it is sick and wrong!! I can only drink cocoa if I am really cold. Since I live in the valley of the sun, drinking cocoa doesn't happen very much at our house.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just place them under the tree?
Santa always wraps the presents he brings to the Nielson home. :)

3. Colored lights or white?
I love both. Sometimes colored lights can be a little busy and over powering but I like both. I like any kind of christmas lights!!

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No, I don't need to!!! ;)

5. When do you put decorations up?
I usually start to put up christmas decorations the monday after thanksgiving. The only thing we have done this year is put up our nativity scene because we have been so busy and sick. We don't even have a christmas tree!!! :(

6. What holiday food do you most look forward to?
Since I didn't get Turkey and stuffing for thanksgiving, I am looking forward to it for christmas!!! I also really enjoy the mexican food we always have with my dad's family for christmas eve. It is always sooo good!!

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
My brothers, sister and I used to all sleep in the same room together on christmas eve, kind of like a pajama party. That way when someone woke up christmas morning we could wake each other up and then go wake up mom and dad. I always enjoy opening my stocking as well.

8. What do you want for christmas?
I am in need of maternity clothes this year. I think that is the number one thing on all my lists. I might have to cave and go get some before christmas because my tummy is popping out more and more. (Belly pictures will be posted soon)

9. Do you open on e gift on christmas eve?
YES!!!! We always draw names with my dad's family each year, and that is the present we get to open on christmas eve.

10. Snow...Love it or Hate it?
I love the look at it, but I am not fond of playing in it for to long. I also can not stand the crunch noise when you step on it. It sends chills up my spine.

11. What's your favorite holiday tradition?
I think it would have to be the mexican food/christmas eve party we have with my dad's side of the family. The food is always delicious!!!

12. What was your most memorable christmas?
It would have to be the first christmas Aaron and I had after we were married. WE had a lot of fun that year!!!

13. It's just not christmas unless you watch...
Christmas Vacation, Polar Express, The Grinch and Home Alone!!!

I've been Tagged!!!!

I was "tagged" by my cousin Krista. We will see if I can think of anything interesting about myself. Here goes...

1)Include these game rules at the beginning of your blog post
2)Each player lists six facts/habits about themselves
3)At the end of the post, tag six more people by posting their names, and leaving a comment on their blogs that they have been tagged and to look at your blog for the rules.

1 - I absolutely love to be barefoot. I don't know what it is, but I love it. It's not that I don't like shoes, I just love to be barefoot. Everytime I get settled somewhere, whether it be in the car or at work, I take my shoes off. I usually wear shoes that are easy to get off because of this habit of mine. Being barefoot is great!!!

2 - One of my biggest pet peeves is rude people!!! OH I can't stand it!!! I encounter at least 3 rude people everyday at work. I work in an Outpatient Neuro Rehab Center so we get alot of older people, and let me tell you they can be the rudest people ever!!! Somedays I just want to scream!!! It is very frustrating

3 - I know this sounds bad, but I am not a fan of being pregnant. At least not yet anyway. I have been so sick since I was 6 weeks along. When I hit 14 weeks the nausea and vomiting got a little better. I am 17 weeks now and I am still not feeling 100%. I just want to feel like a normal human being again!!! Hopefully I will start to soon!!!

4- I have one of the sweetest husbands ever!!!! Aaron has been so helpful around the house since I have been sick!!! I don't know what I would do without him. He has cleaned, cooked, done laundry, and a lot of other things. Gotta love him!!!

5- I am obsessed with cross stitching!!!! It makes me feel like an old grandma because I love it so much. I bought a cross stitch kit off the internet last January and I still haven't finished it (mostly due to pregnancy stuff). It is a huge project. Hopefully I can finish it soon!!!

6- I refuse to clean toilets!!! I don't know what it is, but I can not get up close with a toilet unless I am going to the bathroom or throwing up in it. Thinking about cleaning one gives me the chills. Aaron is the toilet cleaner in our house, that is one of his official chores!!! Again, gotta love him!!! :)

I will tag, Ally Bigler, Leslie Bigler, Ashlie, Jessica and Holly. Have fun!!!

Breckenridge Blog...

Aaron and I decided (well, it was mostly me) we need to set up a blog so family and friends can keep in touch. I quickly realized that this blog is probably going to be pretty boring until our little one arrives in May. So until then we will try to post pictures of the two of us when anything exciting happens in our lives. Enjoy!!!
